Training And Development
At the Mooney Hotel Group, we are committed to the training and development of staff at all levels.
Training activity ranges from one to one training to certificated training through external programmes. In addition to skills training our off job programmes include statutory training, I.T. training, customer care and management skills development. In all cases training needs are identified based on individual requirements and business objectives.
At the heart of our policy to develop and motivate people is our Management Training Scheme. This is a unique and personalised programme, tailor made to meet each individual's development requirement allowing them to reach their full potential within the Company. The programme involves a period of training in key departments within the hotel with successful completion resulting in a Nationally Recognised Qualification e.g. NVQ level 3 in Supervisory Management. Intake for the programme is on an annual basis, each July.
